De spons is behoorlijk goed. Het brengt foundation goed en gelijkmatig aan. Het is gemakkelijk uit te spoelen. Het is zacht. Er zijn echter een paar onduidelijke punten: 1. De spons heeft aanvankelijk een onaangename geur; 2. Toen ik het voor het eerst nat maakte, druppelde er water met schuim vanaf (ik maakte het nat met schoon water). Wat voor soort schuim het is, blijft een mysterie.
